Buns is a snack made with flour, butter and other ingredients. All the ingredients are mixed together to form a dough (not too firm though) and deep fried.

So, let’s begin.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups of flour
  • 125g of butter
  • 187ml of Sugar
  • 3 tablespoon of powdered milk
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • Vegetable oil for frying

The step by step video is below for all practical lovers.

PREPARATION

Sieve the flour in a bowl. You can get this awesome Handheld Flour Shaker I found on Amazon. It will make the process much easier.

Add the butter in the flour and mix till both are well mixed.

Add the sugar, milk, baking powder and salt. Mix well

After mixing, add a little water.

Now mix to form a dough.

Note: We do not want the dough to be too rough or firm. It should be a bit sticky and soft.

Ready dough

Set your pot on heat and add the vegetable oil. Just enough to deep fry and allow to heat up.

When the oil heats up, dip your hand in water, fetch the dough and make a ball with it. Then gently drop it in the oil.
